Basic Safety Tips for BDSM Roleplay

If you and your partner choose to indulge in any sort of BDSM roleplay pay attention to the following basic safety rules:

The Dominant IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUBMISSIVES SAFETY. Remember that the Submissive is placing complete control in your hands, if you stop paying attention for even a short time a wonderful experience could turn to tragedy.

If using gags, hoods, etc. be sure that the Submissive can breath freely. If there is any sign of choking release the Submissive IMMEDIATELY

Ensure that you practise SAFE sex with your BDSM partner

Employ the use of a safe word, if this is uttered desist the play IMMEDIATELY and release the Submissive from ALL restraints.

Make sure that restraints and ties are tight enough to be enjoyable, but loose enough to allow ample blood flow. Also be careful on which restraints you use at which times, and that the restrained sub is unable to fall over and SERIOUSLY hurt themselves.

Be sure that all toys are cleaned regularly and in good working order.
